SMF Media Design LLC. has Licensed FAA Part 107 drone pilots.
Do you need aerial photos or video?
The written permission from the Property Owner will be required for all drone photos and video.
This includes Public Lands.
The Pilot in Command must have ultimate authority to control the area in which the drone is being operated.
This includes closing and denying access to the site or a portion of the site where drone operations are taking place.
You are responsible for obtaining permission to use public lands.
Rental Agreements or Written permission must be provided.
You will be required to obtain any talent releases for individuals in any photos or video.

Q: Can I fly the drone.
A: No. Only SMF Media Design LLC. staff will operate the drone.
Q: What are the rules for operation of a Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) or “drones”
A: The rules fall under 14 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) Part 107.

Q: Will the Pilot photograph or take video of anything I want?
A: No. All Federal, State, Local Laws and Ordinances will be followed.
I am aware that while I may be the customer hiring drone services Per FAA regulations the sUAS Pilot being hired has final say over all flight operations and may reject any request at any time for any reason.

Q: The site where I want to shoot is posted as a No Drone Zone what do I need to do?
A: You must obtain and provide written permission to operate a drone where drones are prohibited.
After written permission is obtained SMF Media Design LLC. will file the appropriate paperwork with the Federal Aviation Administration.
The FAA requires 90 days to process requests.
You will be billed for time spent on filing requests even if your request is denied.
